ABC Wednesday

T is for Twmpathiau, which is the Welsh translation for "Humps", as seen on the road sign just outside our house, which is just before the junction with a road that has a lot of speed bumps and speed tables. As my other half says, the Black Eyed Peas song wouldn't be quite the same if it was "My Twmpathiau"!

That is a hard one to figure out how to pronounce, "Twmpathiau"!

I think that sign would look a lot happier if you turned it upside-down! I do miss the signs in Welsh. When I was last in Wales and I saw 'araf'on the road I got rather more excited about it than I really should have!!!

I like your picture, but there is no way I would ever be able to get my tongue around a word that starts with so many consonants :)
