Polaris
My first project of the new year, Polaris. This was made in Wollmeise 100% in Merlot with silver beads. It was my first ever beaded project, and I'm delighted with the way it turned out.

Absolutely gorgeous! I've not tried beads yet - too chicken!
Nothing to be chicken about - beading isn't as hard as it looks, just a bit fiddly. And Polaris was an ideal first beading project, as the lace pattern is so simple.
