This is my first project using yarn acquired at Knit Nation. The pattern is Glows by Laris Designs and the yarn is 100% Merino Superwash from Wollmeise in Johannisbeer und Brennessel, which translates as Redcurrant and Stinging Nettle. Being a fine yarn on small needles, with lots of cables etc, it's quite a fiddly project, but I'm really enjoying it anyway. It's also the first time I've worked from a chart rather than a written pattern, which is interesting to say the least!

Very nice colours - though I have to admit to a fondness for the flame-coloured ones! The pattern is showing up really nicely. I hope you'll be keeping us up to date with your projects :)
I certainly intend to, I feel like I've finally found a purpose for the blog! I can take a decent photo if I try, but I don't have the passion for it that you lot do, so I don't have lots of lovely and interesting photos to post; I'm not much of a deep thinker; and I'd make a rubbish social/political commentator! Crafty stuff I can do and enjoy, so for the most part I think that's what I'll be putting on here.
